Originally from Chicago, Illinois, Dr. Shaffer found chiropractic in high school after suffering an injury that could have potentially ended his wrestling career. With chiropractic care, Dr. Shaffer was able to finish his high school wrestling season and even continued to stay active with sports like Mixed Martial Arts where he fought as both an amateur and a professional and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu where he has earned the rank of brow belt.
Dr. Shaffer graduated from Life University with his doctorate degree in Chiropractic in 2014. He also received his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Physiology from Western Illinois University in 2008. Since finishing his doctorate he has continued to train on new techniques in chiropractic, physical rehab, nutrition and strength and conditioning. Dr. Shaffer has combines his love of nutrition and exercise with chiropractic care to best serve his patients. When he is not in the office, you can find him hiking with his dog Jackson or on a mat practicing Jiu-Jitsu.
